Mama Ngina University College (MNUC) is a student-centered institution dedicated to producing innovative, scientifically grounded, ethical, and holistic graduates. The college is currently seeking a Part-Time Lecturer in Development Economics to deliver high-quality instruction within its market-driven degree programs. The lecturer will utilize modern state-of-the-art teaching and research facilities to develop students' hands-on skills necessary for job creation and employment.
Responsibilities
Deliver part-time lectures in Development Economics to students.
Facilitate learning through innovative and market-driven methodologies.
Conduct student assessments and grade examinations or assignments.
Contribute to research and scholarly activities (essential for postgraduate instruction).
Mentor students and provide academic guidance to ensure holistic development.
Maintain academic records and evidence of teaching as required by university standards.
Qualifications and Experience
A Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Development Economics or a relevant field from a recognized University; OR
A Master’s degree in Development Economics or a relevant field with at least two (2) years of University teaching or industry experience.
Documented evidence of teaching experience at the University level and/or relevant industry experience is mandatory.
Registration with relevant professional bodies where applicable.
Evidence of research and publications in refereed journals is an added advantage, particularly for postgraduate teaching assignments.
