Job Description
The Open University of Kenya aims to address the pressing issue of limited capacity in traditional universities by employing innovative teaching and learning methodologies, including online and distance education. By leveraging technology and flexible learning modes, the university seeks to accommodate a larger number of qualified students.
We are looking for qualified individuals to fill the position of Part-time Lecturer in Computer Vision and Image Analysis.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver lectures and tutorials virtually on Computer Vision and Image Analysis.
Manage digital course contents and facilitate distance-learning activities.
Support and mentor students through online platforms.
Evaluate student performance through virtual assignments, online tests, and examinations.
Requirements and Qualifications
An earned Ph.D. or equivalent degree qualification in the relevant field from an accredited University; OR A Master’s degree in the relevant field from an accredited University (in special cases) with at least three (3) years teaching experience at university level and registered in good standing for a Ph.D. in the relevant field.
Must be computer literate with the ability to handle digital content and support students online.
