Mama Ngina University College (MNUC) is a student-centered institution dedicated to producing innovative, scientifically grounded, and ethical graduates. We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced individual to join our faculty as a Part-Time Lecturer in Computer Networking. The successful candidate will contribute to our mission by delivering high-quality instruction and leveraging our state-of-the-art teaching and research facilities.
Responsibilities and Duties
Deliver high-quality lectures and practical sessions in Computer Networking to undergraduate and/or postgraduate students.
Develop and update course materials, including lesson plans, assignments, and laboratory exercises.
Evaluate student performance through continuous assessments, examinations, and projects.
Provide academic mentorship and guidance to students.
Participate in departmental activities and contribute to the institution's academic standards.
For postgraduate instruction, engage in research and contribute to publications in refereed journals.
Requirements for Appointment
A Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a relevant field from a recognized University; OR
A Master’s degree in the relevant field with at least two (2) years of University teaching or Industry experience.
Demonstrable evidence of teaching experience at the University level and/or relevant industry experience.
Registration with relevant professional bodies where applicable.
Evidence of research and publications in refereed journals will be an added advantage (and is required for postgraduate teaching roles).
