The institution is seeking qualified individuals for the position of Part-Time Lecturer in Community Health to provide academic instruction and mentorship to students.
Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality lectures in Community Health.
Develop and update course materials, lesson plans, and teaching aids.
Conduct assessments, including grading coursework and examinations.
Provide academic guidance and mentorship to students.
Engage in research and contribute to scholarly publications in refereed journals (essential for postgraduate level teaching).
Ensure adherence to university academic standards and ethical guidelines.
Requirements for Appointment
A Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in the relevant field from a recognized University; OR
A Master’s degree in the relevant field with at least two (2) years University teaching / Industry experience.
Professional Requirements
Evidence of teaching experience at University level and/or relevant industry experience.
Registration with relevant professional bodies where applicable.
Evidence of research and publications in refereed journals will be an added advantage (for postgraduate teaching).
Mandatory Requirement: Candidates must provide documented evidence supporting University teaching experience (such as letters of appointment) to avoid disqualification.
