Role Overview
The Part-Time Lecturer will be responsible for delivering academic instruction in the field of Clinical Pharmacology. The role involves preparing and delivering lectures, assessing student performance, and contributing to the academic excellence of the institution. The successful candidate should demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching and student development.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality lectures to students in accordance with the university curriculum.
Conduct assessments, including marking examinations and coursework.
Provide academic guidance and mentorship to students.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge in the field of Clinical Pharmacology.
Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development where required.
Qualifications and Requirements
A Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Clinical Pharmacology or a relevant field from a recognized University; OR
A Master’s degree in Clinical Pharmacology or a relevant field with at least two (2) years of University teaching or Industry experience.
Evidence of teaching experience at the University level and/or relevant industry experience.
Registration with relevant professional bodies where applicable.
Evidence of research and publications in refereed journals will be an added advantage (specifically for postgraduate teaching).
