Mama Ngina University College (MNUC) is a student-centered institution dedicated to producing innovative, scientifically grounded, ethical, and holistic graduates. The college is currently seeking qualified individuals to join the faculty as Part-Time Lecturers specializing in Clinical Chemistry. The successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of market-driven degree programmes using modern, state-of-the-art teaching and research facilities.
Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality instruction and lectures in Clinical Chemistry to students.
Develop and update course materials and curricula in line with university standards.
Assess student performance through continuous assessment tests and final examinations.
Provide academic guidance and mentorship to students to foster their growth.
Participate in research and publication activities to enhance the department's academic standing.
Ensure all teaching activities are conducted ethically and meet the institution's holistic educational goals.
Requirements
A Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Clinical Chemistry or a relevant field from a recognized University; OR
A Master’s degree in Clinical Chemistry or a relevant field with at least two (2) years of University teaching or industry experience.
Documented evidence of teaching experience at the University level and/or relevant industry experience.
Registration with relevant professional bodies where applicable.
Evidence of research and publications in refereed journals is considered an added advantage, especially for postgraduate teaching.
