We are currently seeking qualified individuals for part-time teaching positions in the field of Bioinformatics.
Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality lectures and tutorials to students in the Bioinformatics department.
Develop and update course materials, syllabi, and teaching aids.
Assess student performance through assignments, examinations, and projects.
Provide academic mentorship and guidance to students.
Support departmental research initiatives and academic growth.
Requirements for Appointment
Educational Qualifications
A Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Bioinformatics or a relevant field from a recognized University.
OR a Master’s degree in the relevant field with at least two (2) years of University teaching or industry experience.
Professional Requirements
Evidence of teaching experience at the University level and/or relevant industry experience.
Registration with relevant professional bodies where applicable.
Evidence of research and publications in refereed journals will be an added advantage, especially for postgraduate teaching.
