We are currently seeking a Part-Time Lecturer specializing in Artificial Intelligence to join our academic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering instruction, facilitating student research, and contributing to the development of market-driven skills in our students.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality lectures and practical sessions in Artificial Intelligence.
Facilitate learning using modern teaching and research facilities.
Conduct assessments, mark examinations, and provide timely feedback to students.
For postgraduate teaching, engage in research and publish findings in refereed journals.
Provide guidance and mentorship to students to foster job creation and competitive skills.
Adhere to the university's academic standards and ethical guidelines.
Requirements for Appointment
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
A Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Artificial Intelligence or a relevant field from a recognized University; OR
A Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence or a relevant field with at least two (2) years of University teaching or industry experience.
Professional Requirements
Evidence of teaching experience at the University level and/or relevant industry experience.
Registration with relevant professional bodies where applicable.
Evidence of research and publications in refereed journals will be an added advantage (specifically for postgraduate teaching).
