Bomet University College is seeking to recruit qualified and experienced individuals to serve as Part-Time Lecturers in Agronomy. Successful applicants will be expected to support the University's core mandate of teaching, training, and mentorship of students.
Key Responsibilities
Support the University's core mandate of teaching, training, and mentorship of students.
Prepare and deliver lectures in Agronomy courses.
Assess student coursework and exams to evaluate academic progress.
Guide and mentor students to support their professional and academic development.
Requirements for Appointment
Possess a minimum of a PhD degree in Agronomy or a relevant field from a recognized university.
Have at least two (2) years of teaching experience at the university level. This must be evidenced by documentation such as letters of appointment or contracts from previous university engagements.
Evidence of having published in credible refereed journals.
Applicants with foreign academic qualifications must provide recognition and verification certificates from the Commission for University Education (CUE)/National Qualification Authority (NQA).

A formal application letter specifying the applicant's area of specialization, academic qualifications, work experience, and current place of employment.
A detailed Curriculum Vitae clearly outlining personal details, academic and professional background, teaching experience, and any other relevant information.
Certified copies of academic and professional certificates, Transcripts, letters of appointment showing evidence of university-level teaching experience, National ID or passport, testimonials, other supporting documents, and a certificate of recognition for foreign degrees (where applicable).
The copies of the application should be sent via registered mail or courier clearly marked 'Part-time Application' on the envelope to the address below.
