Bomet University College is seeking qualified applicants to support the University's core mandate of teaching, training, and student mentorship on a part-time basis in the discipline of Agricultural Extension.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality lectures, training, and tutorials in Agricultural Extension.
Assess and grade student course work, examinations, and projects.
Provide academic mentorship and guidance to students.
Support departmental academic programs and quality assurance measures.
Requirements for Appointment
To qualify for appointment to the Bomet University Service, applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
Academic Qualification: Possess a minimum of a PhD degree in the relevant field (Agricultural Extension or a closely related discipline) from a recognized university.
Teaching Experience: Have at least two (2) years of teaching experience at the university level. This must be evidenced by documentation such as letters of appointment or contracts from previous university engagements.
Publications: Evidence of having published in credible refereed journals.
Foreign Degrees Verification: Applicants with foreign academic qualifications must provide recognition and verification certificates from the Commission for University Education (CUE) / National Qualification Authority (NQA).

A detailed Curriculum Vitae clearly outlining personal details, academic and professional background, teaching experience, and references.

Letters of appointment showing evidence of university-level teaching experience.
Testimonials and other supporting documents (including a certificate of recognition for foreign degrees, if applicable).
