Mama Ngina University College (MNUC) is a Student-Centered institution seeking a Part-Time Lecturer for Geospatial Techniques. The role involves teaching and providing hands-on training to enable students to develop skills necessary for job creation and competitive employment in the modern workforce. Responsibilities and Duties
Deliver high-quality lectures and practical sessions in Geospatial Techniques based on the approved university curriculum.
Guide and supervise students during practical laboratory sessions involving geospatial tools and software.
Conduct student assessments, including designing exams, grading, and providing timely feedback.
Mentor students and supervise relevant research activities.
Engage in continuous professional development and maintain academic standards set by the university college.
Qualifications and Requirements
A Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in the relevant field from a recognized University; OR a Master’s degree in the relevant field with at least two (2) years of University teaching or industry experience.
Evidence of teaching experience at the University level and/or relevant industry experience.
Registration with relevant professional bodies where applicable.
Evidence of research and publications in refereed journals is an added advantage, particularly for postgraduate teaching.
