The university college is seeking to recruit part-time lecturers in the field of Data Analytics to support its teaching and research mission.
Role and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering academic instruction in Data Analytics and related modules. Key duties include:
Developing and updating course materials, including syllabi and assessment tools.
Delivering lectures and practical sessions in alignment with the university's academic standards.
Evaluating and grading student assignments, exams, and projects.
Providing mentorship and guidance to students in their academic and professional development.
Contributing to curriculum development in the field of Data, Business Analysis, and AI.
Participating in departmental meetings and activities related to the academic program.
Requirements for Appointment
Candidates must meet the following qualifications and professional requirements:
A Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in the relevant field from a recognized University; OR
A Master’s degree in the relevant field with at least two (2) years of University teaching or industry experience.
Evidence of teaching experience at the University level and/or relevant industry experience.
Registration with relevant professional bodies where applicable.
Evidence of research and publications in refereed journals will be an added advantage (specifically for postgraduate teaching).
