Role Overview\n\nThe Officer, Business Process Automation is responsible for identifying, analysing, redesigning, and automating business processes across Operations and Business units. By leveraging data-driven insights and digital tools, the role aims to improve efficiency, reduce operational risk, and enhance the overall client experience.\n\n### Key Responsibilities\n\n* Process Engineering & Automation: Identify, analyse, redesign, and automate business processes across operations and business units.\n* Solution Development: Create and develop workflow automation solutions using digital tools such as Power Automate and Power Apps.\n* Data & Analytics: Conduct data analysis and create visualisations using Power BI to drive continuous process improvement.\n* Documentation & Compliance: Map and model processes, write business cases, and ensure all process redesigns understand and mitigate operational risk, maintaining strong controls and compliance.\n* Project & Change Management: Support digital transformation initiatives, managing project changes and collaborating with team members and stakeholders.\n\n### Requirements\n\n* Education: First Degree (BA/BSc/HND) in IT, Engineering, Actuarial Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.\n* Experience: 2-3 years of demonstrated experience in process engineering, automation, or data analysis. Experience with digital transformation or workflow automation is highly required.\n* Preferred Certifications (Added Advantage):\n * Microsoft Power Platform certifications\n * Lean Six Sigma Yellow/Green Belt\n * Data analytics certifications\n * Project Management (Agile or PMP fundamentals)\n\n### Core Competencies\n\n* Technical skills: Continuous Process Improvement, Data analysis & visualisation (Power BI), Automation solution development (Power Automate, Power Apps), Process mapping and modelling, Documentation and business case writing.\n* Behavioural skills: Analytical & critical thinking, Team working, Interacting with people, Examining information, and Documenting facts.
