Job Description
Kirinyaga University is seeking a qualified Nursing Officer Grade 8 to join its team. The primary objective of this role is to provide essential healthcare services, including patient assessment, treatment of minor ailments, drug administration, and counselling.
Key Responsibilities
Administering drugs to patients
Keeping records of drugs administered
Treating minor ailments
Counselling staff, patients/clients
Assessing patients’ needs for nursing services
Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor
Qualifications & Skills
Computer Literacy
Valid practicing license
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or its equivalent from a recognized and accredited institution
Registered with a relevant professional body (where applicable)
