Role Overview
The Nurse is responsible for delivering safe, compassionate, and patient-centered nursing care across various hospital departments. The role involves monitoring patient health, implementing care plans, and maintaining strict adherence to medical protocols.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Care: Deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care and monitor conditions regularly.
Treatment Administration: Administer prescribed medications and treatments effectively.
Care Planning: Assist in the development and implementation of individualized patient care plans.
Record Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
Patient Education: Provide education to patients and their families regarding treatment processes and disease prevention.
Compliance: Ensure full compliance with infection prevention and control protocols.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: Diploma or Degree in Nursing from a recognized institution.
Licensure: A valid practice license from the Nursing Council of Kenya.
Experience: A minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience in a clinical setting.
