We are seeking a Night Nurse In Charge to oversee clinical operations during the night shift, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care while maintaining professional standards and patient safety within a busy hospital environment.
Responsibilities and Duties
Provide strong clinical leadership and decision-making during the night shift.
Coordinate patient assessments and critical care delivery.
Lead, motivate, and manage nursing teams during high-pressure and emergency situations.
Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
Maintain high levels of professionalism, integrity, and accountability.
Manage emergency situations and escalate clinical or administrative issues appropriately.
Drive commitment to patient safety, quality improvement, and service excellence.
Oversee organization, planning, and time management within the nursing department during the shift.
Qualifications and Requirements
Must be a Kenya Registered Community Health Nurse (KRCHN).
Valid BA/BSc/HND in a relevant nursing field.
Must possess a valid practising license from the Nursing Council of Kenya.
A minimum of five (5) years of nursing experience is required.
At least two (2) years of experience must be in a supervisory or leadership role within a busy hospital environment.
