A leading multinational is seeking a National Sales Manager to lead Customer Development operations in Kenya.
You will be responsible for driving growth across channels, managing key customer relationships, and leading a high performing field sales team. The role requires strong leadership, commercial acumen, and the ability to deliver innovative solutions that maximise business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Lead national Customer Development workforce across strategic accounts and channels
Manage distributor joint business planning and customer engagement forums
Drive profitability of customers across channels
Negotiate trading terms and manage assigned budgets
Cascade and implement channel business plans at account level
Lead coordination with internal teams (Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, HR) to deliver growth plans
Design and implement sales incentive schemes and field expense initiatives
Ensure compliance with governance frameworks
Identify team development needs and provide training and coaching
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree minimum
10–12 years’ experience as a Sales Manager or Key Account Manager
Strong knowledge and experience in building Route-to-Market channels
Experience in distributor management is an advantage
Proven stakeholder management with senior executives
Experience working in a matrix organization
