Join Girwa Radio and gain hands-on experience in the world of Media & Music! Girwa FM is a licensed radio station broadcasting in Dholuo, running lifestyle and entertainment programs with coverage in Homa Bay, Migori, Kisumu, Siaya, and surrounding areas. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic media environment and contribute to bringing joy to the Luo Nation.
Key Responsibilities
Audio Production: Assist in music production and audio editing to enhance program quality.
Studio Support: Provide assistance during live radio shows and daily studio operations.
Social Media Management: Manage and update Girwa Radio's digital platforms, including Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, and WhatsApp.
Content Creation: Create engaging digital content tailored for online audiences to grow the station's digital footprint.
Promotion: Promote radio programs and community events through social media and other digital channels.
Requirements
Education: Minimum of a Diploma qualification.
Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of music production or audio editing.
Digital Literacy: Familiarity with major social media platforms (Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, WhatsApp).
Interpersonal Skills: Creativity and strong communication skills.
Personal Attributes: A genuine passion for radio, media, and entertainment, with a willingness to learn and work effectively in a team environment.
