The Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development is inviting applications from qualified, experienced, and dynamic individuals for the position of Monitoring & Evaluation Officer/Assistant. This role is based within the Regional Programme Coordination and Management Unit (RPCMU) in Kisumu. The primary mandate of the Ministry is to ensure 100% food and nutrition security and to improve the livelihoods of rural Kenyans by transforming the agricultural sector to be competitive, commercially oriented, and responsive to the economic needs of the country.
Job Overview
The Monitoring & Evaluation Officer/Assistant will support the RPCMU in tracking program implementation, assessing performance against set objectives, and ensuring data-driven decision-making within the regional agricultural initiatives.
Minimum Requirements
Candidates must hold a BA/BSc degree or a Higher National Diploma (HND) in a relevant field.
Applicants must demonstrate relevant academic qualifications and professional certifications.
Practical experience in monitoring and evaluation or data analysis as specified in the detailed job descriptions available on the Ministry’s website.
