The Medical Physicist ensures precision, safety, and quality assurance in radiation therapy and diagnostic imaging services.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and verify radiotherapy treatment plans.
Perform dose calculations and equipment calibration.
Lead quality assurance programs.
Ensure regulatory compliance with KNRA standards.
Train staff on radiation safety protocols.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Physics.
Master of Science (MSc) in Medical Physics.
Registered with the Association of Medical Physicists in Kenya (AMPKen).
Possession of a Valid Kenya Nuclear Regulatory Authority (KNRA) license.
Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a radiotherapy center.
