Job Description
The County Government of Nandi is seeking to recruit qualified individuals for the position of Medical Engineering Technologist III (2 Posts). This role is centered on the maintenance, repair, and calibration of medical engineering equipment and plants within the county's health facilities to ensure optimal delivery of healthcare services.
Responsibilities
While specific duties are assigned upon appointment based on the grade, typical responsibilities for this role include:
Carrying out routine maintenance and repairs on medical equipment and machinery.
Performing regular inspections and performance testing on medical devices.
Assisting in the installation and commissioning of new medical engineering plants.
Maintaining accurate records of equipment servicing and inventory.
Ensuring all medical technology complies with safety and technical standards.
Requirements
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:
A Diploma in Medical Engineering or any other equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
A Certificate in computer application skills from a recognized institution.
