Mathematics / Computer Teacher

Windle International is a leading provider of education and training for refugees and communities affected by conflict in East Africa and the Horn of Africa. We are looking for a dedicated Mathematics and Computer Teacher to join our mission of helping people access education and training to contribute to peaceful and tolerant communities. The role involves planning and delivering quality instruction, managing classroom environments, and supporting student development in challenging contexts.\n\n### Key Responsibilities\n* Plan and teach lessons in line with the curriculum, using appropriate teaching methods to support student understanding and engagement.\n* Prepare tests, assignments, and exams; mark and provide feedback; monitor and record students' academic progress.\n* Maintain discipline, create a safe and inclusive learning environment, and manage student behavior effectively.\n* Mentor and guide students on academic and personal development, identify learning difficulties, and refer cases where necessary.\n* Attend staff meetings, prepare schemes of work and lesson plans, keep records, communicate with parents/guardians, and participate in school activities.\n\n### Qualifications and Requirements\n* A Bachelor's degree in Education.\n* At least two years of post-graduation experience in teaching.\n* Must be registered with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC).\n* Mastery of office software, specifically MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.\n* Ability and willingness to live, work, and travel in a fast-paced and insecure environment while adhering to strict security guidelines.\n\n### How to Apply\nInterested and qualified candidates should submit their application through the Windle International Kenya portal on Google Docs by following the link provided in the application section below.
