We are currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Mathematics & Chemistry Teacher to join our high school faculty.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality instruction in both Mathematics and Chemistry. The role involves not only academic instruction but also inspiring, challenging, and motivating a diverse student body to achieve their full potential within the Competency-Based Education (CBE) framework.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging lessons in Mathematics and Chemistry to high school students.
Demonstrate a deep understanding of current educational issues and specialist subject areas.
Inspire, challenge, and empower students to achieve academic excellence.
Work effectively with a diverse student population and maintain a positive classroom environment.
Collaborate with colleagues to foster a strong team spirit within the department.
Stay updated on pedagogical trends, specifically those related to the Competency-Based Education (CBE) model.
Qualifications and Requirements
At least five years of demonstrable teaching experience in a recognized school.
Prior experience delivering the Competency-Based Education (CBE) is highly preferred.
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) with a specialization in Mathematics and Chemistry.
Must be registered with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC).
