Woodcreek School is a British IGCSE system institution, situated on an 11-acre campus along Kamiti road adjacent to Tatu City, in Kiambu county. We are seeking experienced and committed individuals who will guarantee the best education for our students. We are currently looking for a French / Humanities Teacher to join our futuristic school environment.
Role Overview
The ideal candidate will be a qualified educator with at least five years of teaching experience within the British National Curriculum. You should be a digitally literate, life-long learner who enjoys building positive relationships with students and is passionate about child safeguarding. As a committed team player, you will be expected to contribute to the school's development and play a full part in the pastoral care and extra-curricular programs.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality instruction in French and Humanities following the British National Curriculum and Cambridge standards.
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse student needs.
Build and maintain positive relationships with students, fostering a supportive learning environment.
Actively participate in the school’s pastoral care system and extra-curricular activities.
Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of the school's educational programs.
Ensure a safe learning environment through a strong commitment to child safeguarding.
Requirements and Qualifications
Must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree (Bachelor of Education in Arts or equivalent).
Minimum of five (5) years teaching experience in the British National Curriculum.
Must be currently teaching in a Cambridge Curriculum International School.
Must be a TSC (Teachers Service Commission) Certified Teacher.
Digitally literate and open to continuous professional development.
Willingness to participate in extra-curricular activities and school events.
