Information about the role\n\nThe Market Superintendent is responsible for the overall management and supervision of market facilities within Makueni County. The role ensures that markets operate efficiently, comply with county regulations, and maintain high standards of cleanliness and orderliness.\n\n### Responsibilities and Duties\n\n* Supervise daily market operations and personnel.\n* Ensure compliance with county market regulations and bylaws.\n* Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of market facilities.\n* Manage vendor relations and resolve disputes within the marketplace.\n* Coordinate the collection of market fees and dues.\n* Maintain accurate operational records and reports.\n\n### Requirements for Appointment\n\n* Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade D- (minus) or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.\n* Certificate in computer application skills.\n* Demonstrated merit and ability in a supervisory role.\n\n### Additional Information and Conditions\n\n* Applicants should provide all the details requested for in the advertisement.
