Manager, Product Development and Commercialization

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of innovative banking products and value propositions.
• Manage the full product lifecycle, including concept development, business case preparation, pilot testing, launch, and post-launch evaluation.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders (Digital Banking, Marketing, Operations, Risk, Finance, and IT) to ensure successful rollout.
• Drive commercialization strategies to enhance product uptake and market share.
• Maintain detailed product documentation, including manuals, processes, and pricing models.
• Monitor product performance and customer feedback for continuous improvement.
• Conduct competitor and market analysis to ensure offerings remain competitive.
• Support go-to-market plans, promotional materials, and staff training.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, risk frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide insights to senior management on performance, trends, and emerging opportunities.
• Champion a culture of innovation and customer-centric design.

Qualifications and Experience

• Academic Background: Bachelor’s Degree (Essential); Master’s Degree (Added Advantage).
• Professional Qualifications: Certification in Product Development (Essential).
• Total Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience.
• Specific Experience requirements:
  • at least 3 years in Product Development (Essential).
  • at least 3 years in Project Management (Essential).
  • at least 2 years in Banking Operations (Essential).
  • at least 2 years in Sales/Marketing (Desired).
