As the Manager for Product Design at KCB Bank Kenya, you will lead the product design team in creating innovative and effective financial solutions. Your role involves providing strategic direction, managing development activities, and ensuring that design solutions meet both customer needs and business objectives within established timelines and cost-effectiveness parameters.\n\n### Key Responsibilities\n- Provide strategic direction and guidance to product design teams to ensure high-quality and timely deliveries.\n- Oversee and manage comprehensive product design and development activities.\n- Develop design solutions that balance cost-effectiveness with on-time delivery requirements.\n- Validate product designs by identifying potential constraints and implementing necessary corrective actions.\n- Evaluate both new and existing products through detailed analysis and assessment of product specifications.\n- Align design efforts with customer needs and broader business strategies.\n- Understand and negotiate the needs and expectations of multiple stakeholders across the organization.\n- Communicate design insights and strategic plans effectively to cross-functional team members and senior management.\n- Lead the experience vision for various product areas and contribute to high-level product direction conversations.\n- Meet regularly with key business partners to review current challenges, uncover root causes, recommend course correction, and implement strategies to support implementation effectiveness based on feedback.\n\n### Requirements and Qualifications\n- : Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university is required.\n- : Professional Qualifications or Certification in Business Analysis is considered an added advantage.\n- : At least 5 years of relevant experience in product design within the financial services or fintech sectors.\n- : 5 years’ experience in digital Banking solutions delivery.\n- : 5 years’ experience in product or Service design; design and/or digital multi-channel technical support.\n- : 3 years’ experience in product customer journey mapping and service design.\n- : 2 years’ experience in workflow optimization.\n- : 2 years’ experience in information architecture and accessibility standards.\n- : 2 years’ experience working in agile teams.\n- : 4 years’ experience in cross-functional stakeholder management.\n\n### How to Apply\nInterested and qualified candidates are encouraged to apply online through the KCB Bank recruitment portal.
