About the Role
P.C.E.A Tumutumu Hospital, a 203-bed facility owned and governed by the Presbyterian Church of East Africa, is seeking a Management Trainee - Health Records & Information Officer. This role is designed for a dedicated individual looking to build a career in health informatics and records management within a holistic healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
Assisting in the collection, coding, and storage of patient health information.
Utilizing and managing Health Information Systems (HIS) to ensure data accuracy and accessibility.
Maintaining organized medical records and ensuring the confidentiality of patient data.
Providing administrative support related to healthcare documentation and reporting.
Ensuring compliance with hospital protocols and health information standards.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: Must possess a Diploma or Degree in Health Records & Information Technology or a related field.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in computer applications and experience with Health Information Systems.
Soft Skills: Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Religious Recommendation: A mandatory recommendation letter from a religious leader, who must also be included as one of the candidate's referees.
