Role Overview
As a Legal Associate, you will be responsible for providing legal advisory and documentation support. The role involves managing contracts, mergers and acquisitions, and ensuring regulatory compliance for our diverse portfolio of clients.
Key Responsibilities
Contracts & Legal Documentation: Drafting, reviewing, and managing various legal agreements and documentation.
Corporate Advisory: Handling Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), corporate structuring, and conducting thorough due diligence processes.
Client Advisory: Providing legal guidance on regulatory, commercial, and employment matters.
Conveyancing & Registry: Managing conveyancing and navigating registry processes.
Business Support: Conducting legal research and providing support for business development activities.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a Diploma from the Kenya School of Law (KSL).
Certification: Must be an Advocate of the High Court and a current member of the Law Society of Kenya (LSK).
Experience: 2–3 years of professional experience in a busy law firm environment.
Competencies: Strong drafting and research skills, high commercial awareness, detail-oriented, and highly organized.
