Job Description
Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST) is seeking qualified individuals for part-time positions as Lecturers and Technical Staff within the Engineering department. These roles are essential for delivering quality academic instruction and technical support to students, bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical engineering applications.
Responsibilities
Deliver academic lectures and instructional materials in specific engineering specializations.
Provide technical support and guidance during laboratory sessions and practical workshops.
Assist in the implementation and review of the engineering curriculum.
Evaluate student performance through assignments, practical tests, and examinations.
Manage and maintain engineering laboratory equipment to ensure a safe and effective learning environment.
Provide mentorship to students on technical projects and research activities.
Requirements and Qualifications
Academic Credentials: Must hold an earned PhD or Master’s degree in a relevant engineering specialization from a recognized university.
Foundational Education: A recognized undergraduate degree in the relevant engineering field is mandatory.
Industry Experience: Previous work experience in the engineering industry is considered a significant advantage.
