Job Description
Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology (JOOUST) is seeking qualified individuals to fill Part-Time Lecturer positions in the area of Strategic Management.
Preparing learning and teaching materials to enable better delivery of content and achievement of the course objectives.
Delivering course content to students through lectures, ensuring that they follow the curriculum objectives.
Evaluating delivery models and making appropriate improvements to ensure quality teaching and learning.
Interpreting curriculum in a bid to synthesize content and disseminate the same to learners.
Setting, moderating, invigilating, and marking examinations.
Carrying out needs assessment for curriculum, identifying content gaps in order to produce competent graduates.
Requirements and Qualifications
Applicants should hold a PhD or a Master's degree qualification in a relevant field from a recognized academic institution and possess vast teaching or industry experience at undergraduate/postgraduate levels.
Applicants must have served as a Lecturer or possess equivalent industry experience in a university or institution recognized by the Senate of JOOUST.
Demonstrate potential for university teaching and/or research.
At least two (2) years of teaching experience in a university.
Master's holders registered for a PhD may be considered.
Be registered with the relevant professional body as required by the field of specialization.
