Role Overview
Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology (JOOUST) is seeking qualified individuals for the position of Part-Time Lecturer in Operations Management. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and/or postgraduate students, developing learning materials, and contributing to the academic excellence of the institution.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Teaching & Instruction: Teach undergraduate and/or postgraduate students in the area of Operations Management.
Material Preparation: Prepare learning and teaching materials to enable better delivery of content and achievement of the course objectives.
Curriculum Delivery: Deliver course content to students through lectures, ensuring alignment with curriculum objectives.
Quality Improvement: Evaluate delivery models and make appropriate improvements to ensure high-quality teaching and learning.
Curriculum Interpretation: Interpret curriculum to synthesize content and disseminate it effectively to learners. Set, moderate, invigilate, and mark examinations.
Needs Assessment: Conduct needs assessments for curriculum; identify content gaps to ensure graduates are fully competent.
