Lecturer - Marketing

Duties and Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and/or postgraduate students.
• Prepare learning and teaching materials to enable better delivery of content and achievement of course objectives.
• Deliver course content to students through lectures, ensuring curriculum objectives are met.
• Evaluate delivery models and make appropriate improvements to ensure quality teaching and learning.
• Interpret the curriculum to synthesize and disseminate content to learners.
• Set, moderate, invigilate, and mark examinations.
• Carry out needs assessments for the curriculum to identify content gaps and produce competent graduates.

Requirements

• Applicants should hold a PhD or a Master's degree qualification in a relevant field from a recognized academic institution.
• Possess vast teaching or industry experience at undergraduate/postgraduate levels.
• Must have served as a Lecturer or have equivalent industry experience in a university or institution recognized by the Senate of JOOUST.
• Demonstrate potential for university teaching and/or research.
• At least two (2) years of teaching experience in a university.
• Master's holders registered for a PhD may be considered.
• Must be registered with the relevant professional body as required by the field of specialization.
