Lecturer - Logistics and Supply Chain Management

Duties and Responsibilities

• Teaching undergraduate and/or postgraduate students.
• Preparing learning and teaching materials to enable better delivery of content and achievement of the objectives of the course.
• Delivering the course content to students through lectures, ensuring that they follow the curriculum objectives.
• Evaluating delivery models and making appropriate improvements to ensure quality teaching and learning.
• Interpreting curriculum to synthesize and disseminate content to learners.
• Setting, moderating, invigilating, and marking examinations.
• Carrying out needs assessments for curriculum and identifying content gaps to produce competent graduates.

Requirements

• Applicants should hold a PhD or a master's degree qualification in a relevant field from a recognized academic institution.
• Possess vast teaching or industry experience at undergraduate/postgraduate levels.
• Must have served as a Lecturer or equivalent industry experience in a university or institution recognized by the Senate of JOOUST.
• Demonstrate potential for university teaching and/or research.
• At least two (2) years teaching experience in a university.
• Master's holders registered for PhD may be considered.
• Be registered with the relevant professional body as required by the field of specialization.
