Job Description
This is a part-time academic position at Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology (JOOUST). The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality instruction in Information Systems and IT Governance, supporting curriculum development, and engaging in academic assessment and research.
Duties and Responsibilities
Instruct undergraduate and/or postgraduate students in the field of Information Systems & IT Governance.
Teaching:
Material Preparation: Prepare learning and teaching materials to enable better delivery of content and achievement of course objectives.
Course Delivery: Deliver course content through lectures, ensuring alignment with curriculum objectives.
Quality Evaluation: Evaluate delivery models and implement appropriate improvements to ensure high-quality teaching and learning.
Curriculum Interpretation: Interpret curricula to synthesize content and effectively disseminate it to learners.
Examination Management: Set, moderate, invigilate, and mark student examinations.
Needs Assessment: Carry out needs assessments for the curriculum and identify content gaps to ensure the production of competent graduates.
