Taita Taveta University (TTU), an Academic Centre of Excellence with a focus on Mining and Mineral Processing Engineering, is seeking a qualified individual for the position of Lecturer (Grade 12) in History. Responsibilities and Duties
Deliver high-quality lectures and tutorials to students within the History department.
Conduct scholarly research and publish findings in recognized academic journals.
Supervise student research projects and provide academic mentorship.
Contribute to curriculum development and review to maintain academic standards.
Participate in university committees and departmental meetings.
Engage in community outreach and professional development activities within the field of History.
Qualifications and Requirements
An earned PhD or equivalent degree qualification in History or a relevant field from an accredited and recognized university.
Registration with the relevant professional body (where applicable).
Commitment to the university's standards of excellence in teaching and research.
Terms of Service
The position is on Permanent and Pensionable Terms.
