Lecturer - Environmental Ecology

Duties and Responsibilities

• Teaching: Deliver course content to undergraduate and/or postgraduate students through lectures, ensuring alignment with curriculum objectives.
• Material Preparation: Prepare comprehensive learning and teaching materials to enhance content delivery and student achievement.
• Student Evaluation: Set, moderate, invigilate, and mark examinations. Synthesize content and evaluate delivery models to make improvements for high-quality education.
• Curriculum Development: Interpret and implement the curriculum. Conduct needs assessments for the curriculum, identifying content gaps to ensure the production of competent graduates.

Job Requirements

• Academic Qualifications: Must hold a PhD or a Master's degree in Environmental Ecology or a closely related field from a recognized academic institution. Master's degree holders must be registered for a PhD to be considered.
• Experience: At least two (2) years of teaching experience at the university level. Candidates must have served as a Lecturer or possess equivalent industry experience in a university or recognized institution.
• Professional Registration: Must be registered with the relevant professional body in the field of specialization.
• Demonstrated Potential: Strong potential for university teaching, research, and scholarly contribution.
