Lecturer - Entrepreneurship

Duties and Responsibilities

• Teaching & Delivery: Teach undergraduate and/or postgraduate students. Deliver course content through lectures in line with curriculum objectives.
• Material Preparation: Prepare learning and teaching materials to enable better content delivery and achieve course learning outcomes.
• Evaluation & Improvement: Evaluate delivery models and make appropriate improvements to ensure quality teaching. Set, moderate, invigilate, and mark examinations.
• Curriculum Implementation: Interpret curriculum to synthesize and disseminate content effectively to learners.
• Needs Assessment: Carry out needs assessments for curriculum; identify content gaps to produce highly competent graduates.

Requirements

• Academic Qualifications: Applicants must hold a PhD or a Master's degree qualification in a relevant field from a recognized academic institution. (Master's holders registered for PhD may be considered).
• Teaching Experience: At least two (2) years of teaching experience in a university setting.
• Professional Background: Must have served as a Lecturer or hold equivalent industry experience in a university or institution recognized by the JOOUST Senate.
• Professional Alignment: Registration with the relevant professional body as required by the field of specialization.
• Research Potential: Demonstrate clear potential for university teaching and/or research.
