Job Description
Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology (JOOUST) is seeking qualified individuals for part-time academic positions as a Lecturer in Computational Theory. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and/or postgraduate students, developing learning materials, and actively participating in curriculum evaluation and synthesis to ensure the highest standards of education.
Duties and Responsibilities
Teaching undergraduate and/or postgraduate students in Computational Theory.
Preparing learning and teaching materials to enable better delivery of content and achievement of the objectives of the course.
Delivering the course content to students through lectures, ensuring that they follow the curriculum objectives.
Evaluating the delivery models and making appropriate improvements to ensure quality teaching and learning.
Interpreting the curriculum to synthesize the content and effectively disseminating it to learners.
Setting, moderating, invigilating, and marking examinations.
Carrying out a needs assessment for the curriculum and identifying content gaps in order to produce competent graduates.
