Role Summary
At Ideon Limited, the Lead Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for driving the strategy, design, deployment, and operational management of the organization's IT infrastructure across both on-premises and cloud platforms. This leadership role involves guiding technical teams, managing enterprise environments, ensuring continuous system availability, performance, and security, and aligning technological capabilities with strategic business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, networks, and cloud environments. Develop and execute infrastructure strategies aligned with business objectives.
Oversee enterprise infrastructure operations to ensure high availability, performance, and security. Manage on-premises and cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability and reliability.
Lead infrastructure projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and large-scale deployments.
Monitor infrastructure performance and implement improvements to optimize efficiency.
Ensure compliance with security standards, disaster recovery, and business continuity requirements.
Mentor and provide technical leadership to infrastructure engineers and support teams.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business and technology initiatives.
Manage infrastructure vendors, service providers, and technology partners.
Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and ensure timely resolution.
Prepare infrastructure reports, capacity plans, and recommendations for senior management.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 6 years' experience in infrastructure engineering.
At least 3 years' experience in a technical leadership or senior engineering role.
