Role Overview
The Card Services Technical Lead is responsible for implementing all Card Services by integrating various channels to the Way4 Switch. This pivotal role involves managing a team of engineers to build scalable RESTful APIs, application logic, and integrations with both internal and external systems to deliver efficient and secure card services to customers.
Key Responsibilities
System Design & Implementation: Design and implement robust card management solutions and services.
API Development: Develop and implement high-performance APIs and microservices for banking system integration.
Collaboration: Partner with front-end and back-end teams to ensure a seamless end-to-end user experience.
Compliance & Security: Ensure all developed systems comply with strict PCI/DSS standards while maintaining high availability and performance.
Scalability: Design scalable and reliable components aimed at meeting current requirements and future growth.
Coding Excellence: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using .NET and build RESTful APIs in C#.
Testing & Quality Assurance: Develop and execute comprehensive unit, integration, and performance tests to ensure system stability.
Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and fix software bugs and proactively monitor system performance to resolve issues before they impact users.
DevOps & Deployment: Manage deployment processes and provide support for production releases using Azure DevOps and Scrum methodologies.
Technical Specification: Collaborate with mobile and frontend developers on API specifications and participate in task breakdowns.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Education: A Bachelor’s degree in IT, Software Engineering, or Computer Science is mandatory.
Experience: At least 8 years of experience in software development, specifically within financial services and card systems.
Domain Expertise: Proven track record in system integration and API development within a banking environment.
Technical Skills: Expertise in C#, Java, .NET, and REST/SOAP APIs.
Specialized Knowledge: Deep knowledge of ATM Switches (specifically WAY4) and Finacle Core Banking.
Standards: Familiarity with PCI/DSS, ISO 8583, OAuth, and JWT.
Infrastructure: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, SQL Server, Oracle, and MongoDB.
Advanced Architecture: Strong skills in microservices architecture, Kafka, gRPC, and API management.
Leadership: Agile mindset with strong communication and collaboration capabilities.
