The Machakos County Public Service Board is seeking to recruit Land Surveyors. This is an entry and training grade for this cadre, where the successful candidate will work under the guidance and supervision of a senior officer. The role involves technical field measurements and computations to support topographical, engineering, and cadastral survey projects within the county.
Responsibilities and Duties
Carry out angular and distance measurements and computations for survey projects.
Conduct medium and high-density topographical surveys.
Perform general engineering surveys.
Implement sub-divisional schemes.
Execute medium-area cadastral surveys.
Conduct photo control surveys.
Requirements for Appointment
A Bachelor's degree in any of the following disciplines: Land Surveying, Geospatial Engineering, Geomantic Engineering, Geomantic Engineering and Geospatial Information Systems, Technology in Survey, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
A certificate in computer applications skills.
