Job Description
PCEA Chogoria Hospital is seeking a qualified Laboratory Technologist to join their team. Chogoria Hospital was founded by Scottish missionaries in 1922 and is situated in the serene environment of Chogoria township, Tharaka-Nithi County.
Responsibilities
Conducting laboratory tests and analysis on various samples including blood, tissue, and body fluids.
Maintaining laboratory equipment and troubleshooting technical issues.
Implementing quality control measures to ensure test accuracy.
Managing laboratory records and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
Adhering to KMLTTB regulations and hospital protocols.
Minimum Qualifications
Diploma in Medical Laboratory Sciences or any other equivalent qualification from an institution recognized by the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologists Board (KMLTTB).
Must be registered by the Kenya Medical Laboratory and Technologist Board & have a valid practice license.
Certificate of computer application skills from a recognized institution.
Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
