This is a middle-level position within the Laboratory Technician cadre at Pwani University. Appointment to this role is on terms and conditions determined by the University Council in accordance with Kenyan Labour Laws. The role involves technical support within the Medical Biochemistry laboratory, catering to academic requirements and institutional operations.
Academic Qualifications
The candidate must possess:
A Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
A Master of Science (MSc) in Precision Medicine.
Experience and Other Requirements
Must have at least two (2) years of relevant work experience.
Must be a member of relevant professional bodies.
Previous experience working in a higher institution of learning will be considered an added advantage.
Demonstrated community involvement (e.g., as a member of a Board of Governors (BOG), School Management Committee (SMC), etc.).
