Job Description
The Kenya National Innovation Agency (KeNIA) is a State Corporation established under the Science, Technology and Innovation (STI) Act, No. 28 of 2013 under the Ministry of Education. The agency is looking to appoint board members to support its mission in developing and managing the National Innovation System. This role is pivotal in guiding the agency's strategic direction and ensuring the growth of science, technology, and innovation in Kenya.
Key Requirements
To be eligible for appointment to this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Educational Background: Must hold at least a Master's Degree from a university recognized in Kenya.
Professional Expertise: Demonstrated knowledge and extensive experience in matters related to Science, Technology, and Innovation.
Integrity Standards: Must be a person of high moral character and integrity, fulfilling the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya.
Strategic Contribution: Capable of making a meaningful contribution to the development of the Science, Technology, and Innovation system in Kenya.
