MSVL Group is seeking an IT Assistant (Techno-Functional ERP Support) to play a crucial role in supporting ERP implementation, maintenance, and system optimization across business functions. Based in Nairobi, this role involves translating user business requirements into functional system solutions, offering technical and functional support, and coordinating with stakeholders and vendors.
Key Responsibilities
Support ERP implementation, maintenance, and system optimization across business functions.
Gather business requirements from users and translate them into functional system solutions.
Provide first-level technical and functional support for ERP-related issues and queries.
Coordinate with vendors, developers, and teams during ERP implementation and support cycles.
Assist in system testing, UAT, user training, and preparation of documentation and SOPs.
Monitor system performance, data accuracy, and support reporting within ERP platforms.
Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement within business workflows.
Support ongoing digital transformation and system enhancement initiatives.
Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in IT, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
3-5 years of relevant experience in ERP support, implementation, or administration.
Must have participated in at least one full ERP implementation cycle (Tier 1 or Tier 2 systems).
Understanding of ERP systems and business processes (finance, HR, supply chain, or operations).
Experience with ERP configuration, support, or functional/user-side implementation.
Good troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Knowledge of databases, reporting tools, and system integrations is an added advantage.
Ability to bridge technical and business requirements effectively.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and in teams.
