Job Description
The Capital Markets Authority (CMA) is a statutory agency responsible for regulating and developing efficient Capital Markets in Kenya. This is a one-year (non-renewable) internship opportunity reporting to the Deputy Director, Research and Analytics. The intern will assist the division in managing data, statistical reporting, and stakeholder engagement to support the growth of the financial sector.
Responsibilities
Support stakeholder engagement sessions and prepare responses to client enquiries regarding capital market, financial sector, and economic issues.
Assist in the preparation and monitoring of the division's budget.
Collect and edit capital market statistics from EAC member states and other relevant sources.
Provide support in updating data into designed database systems while ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and controlled accessibility.
Support the preparation and publication of periodic capital market updates and reports.
Qualifications and Experience
A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Policy, Social Sciences, ICT, Records, Library, Knowledge Management, Legal, or a relevant degree from a recognized and accredited institution.
