The County Government of Bomet is seeking to recruit four (4) qualified individuals for the position of Internal Auditor I. Reporting to the Principal Internal Auditor, the successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring financial transparency, integrity, and compliance within the county's operations through rigorous auditing processes and reporting.
Responsibilities
Assist in undertaking various internal audit assignments to evaluate financial controls and operational efficiency.
Prepare detailed internal audit reports for the County Government, highlighting findings and submitting actionable recommendations for improvement.
Monitor the implementation of recommendations raised following the review of internal audit reports to ensure corrective actions are taken.
Support the training and capacity building of staff within the internal audit unit.
Requirements
Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance or its equivalent from a recognized institution.
Must have reached CPA II or be a holder of CPA (K).
Demonstrated proficiency in computer applications.
