The role involves supporting the team in verifying claims, ensuring timely reporting, and participating in risk surveys across the company's various operational areas.
Duties and Responsibilities
Claim Reporting: Ascertaining that claims are reported in good time and that documentation is properly done.
Claim Analysis: Analyzing claims and supporting documents for verification of validity.
Registration: Ensuring prompt registration and acknowledgement of reported claims.
Settlement Recommendations: Reviewing claim reports and recommending settlement in line with policy liability and circumstances of loss.
Processing: Ensuring prompt processing for settlement on all fully documented and concluded claims and seeking approval for payment within the agreed timeframes and approval levels.
Advisory: Consulting and advising on issues regarding claims management.
Risk Surveys: Carrying out Insurance Risk Surveys fronted by Insurance Companies.
Qualifications and Requirements
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Insurance or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
Mobility: Must be prepared to serve anywhere in any of the business areas in Kenya.
