Job Description
The Luke Hotel, a luxury establishment in Nairobi known for its historical charm and five-star amenities, is seeking an Institutional Marketing and Growth Manager to drive institutional and group revenue growth. This role is focused on generating qualified B2B leads, supporting sales closures, and positioning the hotel as a reliable base for corporate, NGO, government, and AFCON-related clients. This is strictly a revenue-focused role and not a social media management position.
Role Purpose
To build revenue pipelines and institutional relationships through strategic lead generation and professional outreach.
Key Responsibilities
Targeting & Identification: Identify and target NGOs, corporate entities, government bodies, training firms, and AFCON-linked organizations.
Sales Collateral: Build and manage professional sales decks, proposals, and pitch materials.
Outreach Campaigns: Execute direct outreach campaigns via email, LinkedIn, and professional WhatsApp.
Lead Generation: Generate qualified leads and coordinate property site visits and walkthroughs.
Sales Support: Assist the sales team with follow-ups and proposal tracking.
Pipeline Management: Maintain a structured lead-to-revenue pipeline tracker.
Strategic Messaging: Assist in AFCON positioning and institutional readiness messaging.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Number of qualified institutional leads generated per month.
Number of site visits arranged and proposals issued.
Revenue influenced (tracked jointly with the sales department).
Conversion rate from lead to booking.
Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: KES 60,000 – 90,000 per month (depending on experience).
Performance Commission: Monthly commission paid on successfully collected revenue (2% up to KES 3M; 3% for KES 3M–7M; 5% above KES 7M).
Bonuses: Single booking bonuses (e.g., KES 30,000 for bookings above KES 5M) and team performance bonuses for high occupancy.
Requirements and Qualifications
3–5 years of experience in B2B or institutional marketing.
Experience in hospitality, real estate, insurance, or corporate services is preferred.
Minimum qualification: KCSE.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Comfortable engaging and negotiating with senior decision-makers.
Results-driven and revenue-oriented mindset.
